Phil Marr – Archers’ Jewellery: Handcrafted Archery Art from Britain

Phil Marr, the artisan behind Archers’ Jewellery, has been making and repairing jewellery for over 30 years. His journey into archery-inspired jewellery began in 2016, when a friend commissioned a bespoke piece — a request that led to the creation of what is now the Archers’ Jewellery Collection.

Phil is not only a master craftsman; he is also a passionate archer himself. This personal connection to the sport shapes his work and gives each piece an authenticity valued within the archery community.

We first met at a Bodnik Bowhunter Challenge in Germany, where Phil travelled as the first participant ever arriving from the UK. What began as a conversation on the shooting line has grown into a creative and supportive partnership.

Precision, Craftsmanship, and Genuine Handwork

Accuracy and attention to detail are at the heart of Phil’s work. Clean lines, balanced proportions and a strong sense of design define both his standard range and his bespoke creations.

Some of his pieces are produced only once or in very limited numbers. These include exclusive awards, such as those presented to the winners of the Bodnik Bowhunter Challenge UK or at Senlac’s Charity Halloween Shoot.

More and more archery retailers across Germany and Europe rely on Phil’s craftsmanship — because his jewellery is not mass-produced, but genuinely handcrafted in Britain: created by an archer, for archers.

Personal Jewellery for Archers Around the World

Phil continues to expand his collection, often inspired by ideas and requests from archers. This close connection to the community results in pieces that capture the passion, tradition and spirit of our sport.

His most recognisable creations include the very first pendant of the collection, the striking Warrior Bracelets, and the official BBHC UK pins — all carefully crafted by hand.

With this blog post, we invite you to take a closer look at Phil’s work. If you’re searching for something personal, meaningful and distinctly tied to archery, Archers’ Jewellery is the place to start.
